Terms of service

1. The service

Askandimprove.com lets you create projects, invite employees to private AI-led chat interviews, and receive a combined online report on how work could be improved, including opportunities for better processes and technology.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate details and keep sign-in details secure. You are responsible for everyone who uses your company account. Tell us promptly at hello@askandimprove.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your responsibilities

• Tell invited employees about the project, that interviews are run by AI, and how their information is used, and make clear that taking part is voluntary.
• Make sure you have a lawful basis for inviting employees and sharing their names and work emails with us.
• Only invite people who work for or with your business.
• Never pressure employees to reveal their answers, and never use the service to monitor, assess or discipline individuals.

4. Pricing and payment

Each employee interview costs £25, excluding VAT, which is added where it applies. You pay upfront for the number of interviews in a project. You can buy extra interviews ("top-ups") for an active project at the same price.

Payments are taken by Stripe. Interviews become available once payment is confirmed. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

5. Refunds and unused interviews

You may cancel a project before paying at no charge. Once paid, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we fail to provide the service. In that case we will refund the affected interviews.

Paid interviews that are not used stay available for that project while it is open. Closing a project early does not create a refund. If a refund is issued, the related unused interview links stop working.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• try to identify which employee said what, or ask us to;
• access or try to access another company's data;
• misuse, disrupt, copy or reverse engineer the service;
• use the service for anything unlawful, discriminatory or harmful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's confidential information private and use it only for this agreement. Individual interview transcripts are confidential to Askandimprove.com and are never disclosed to you, your staff or our advisers.

8. Data protection

For employee interview data, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will process it only on your documented instructions as set out in these terms. We will keep it secure and confidential, use only vetted sub-processors, help you respond to data subject requests, tell you without undue delay about any personal data breach, and delete it in line with our retention periods.

9. Intellectual property and reports

We own the Askandimprove.com platform and its content. You own your data. You may use, copy and share your reports freely within your business and with your advisers. You may not resell them or present them as a service of your own.

10. AI-generated content

Reports are produced with AI and reflect what employees said. They are insight to inform your decisions, not professional, legal, financial or HR advice. Before acting on a report, you should check that it fits your circumstances.

11. Advisory services

Optional advisory services, such as report presentations, on-site interviews and workshops, are quoted separately. A proposal request does not create an obligation for either party until a quote is accepted in writing.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from any project is limited to the fees you paid for that project.

13. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms or fail to pay. When an account closes, data is deleted in line with our privacy notice.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes before they take effect. Projects already paid for continue on the terms in force when you paid.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
